Ingredients

6 onions
1 cup milk
3 eggs, beaten
SIDS SALT & PEPPER
2 cups pancake mix
Rice bran oil, to deep fry
Parsley
2 tbsp SIDS TAMARILLO SAUCE

Directions

Slice onions crosswise and separate into rings. Soak rings in mixture of milk, eggs and SIDS SALT & PEPPER for 30 minutes. Pour SIDS TAMARILLO SAUCE into a serving ramekin.
Dip each onion ring into the pancake mix and fry until golden brown in the oil heated at 190°C.
Press down the fried onions solidly without pressing into a loaf pan. Bake at 200°C for 10-15 minutes. Turn onto a serving plate and garnish with parsley.
Serve with a ramekin of SIDS TAMARILLO SAUCE for dipping.
