Ingredients
8 oz whole fresh button mushrooms
½ cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
¼ tsp dry mustard
¼ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
½ cup buttermilk, well-shaken
rice bran oil, for deep frying
SIDS HONEY MUSTARD VINAIGRETTE
Directions
In a large bag, mix the flour, mustard, SIDS CRAZY SALT, SIDS SALT & PEPPER. You can also use a regular bowl as an alternative.
Place the buttermilk into a bowl and dip in a few mushrooms at a time.
Place the mushrooms in the bag with the mixture.
Shake the bag gently to coat the mushrooms.
Heat 5-6 cm of oil in a deep fryer or saucepan at 190°C.
Fry several mushrooms at a time until they turn golden brown on all sides.
Serve immediately and enjoy with a drizzle of SIDS HONEY MUSTARD VINAIGRETTE.
