Ingredients

500 g thin cut top sirloin (about 6 mm)
½ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
3 tbsp GF oyster sauce
2 tbsp minced red onion
¾ tsp ground ginger
2 tbsp rice vinegar
3 tbsp sesame oil
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
1 cup rice
2 cups chicken stock

Directions

Sprinkle steaks liberally with SIDS CRAZY SALT and place in airtight container for 10 minutes.
In a small bowl mix the oyster sauce, onion, ginger and vinegar. Using a fork or small whisk, slowly add the sesame oil until well blended.
Pour about half of the mixture over the steaks turning to coat well. Let sit at least 20 minutes.
In a sauce pan combine the rice and chicken stock. Bring to boil over medium high. Once boiling, turn down to simmer, cover and cook 20 minutes with no stirring or peeking. When the water is absorbed, remove from heat, fluff with a fork and keep the lid on.
Preheat grill to HIGH. Oil the grates well just before cooking.
The steak is thin and will only need 60 seconds on each side to be done to medium. It is too thin for a thermometer so cutting at the edge is the best way to tell how done it is. Remove to plate and cover with foil for 5-10 minutes.
Slice steak at an angle into pieces 3 cm long and 1 cm wide, season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste, then serve over rice with additional reserved sauce.
