Ingredients
Liquid from a pottle of oysters
3 old bread slices
¼ tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
2 eggs
rice bran oil for frying
Directions
Drain all the liquid from a pottle of oysters into a cup. Add an egg and SIDS SALT & PEPPER then whisk to combine. Cut bread into 3 cm squares. Heat the oil in a large pan. Dip the bread into the egg mixture then into the oil. Fry both sides to golden brown. Be careful not to overcook as these cook very quickly.
Serve with mushrooms or bacon - especially good as croutons in soup, or by themselves as a light snack.
