Ingredients

¼ cup rice bran oil
1 kg pork mince
⅓ cup oat bran
6 shallots, peeled & sliced
3 tsp grated ginger
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
GLAZE:--
⅓ cup soy sauce
⅓ cup SIDS TAMARILLO SAUCE
⅓ cup raw sugar
1 tsp 5 spice powder
1 tsp grated ginger

Directions

Preheat oven to 180°C. In an oven dish, pour in oil and shallots. Stir around to coat then cook in oven for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, combine the pork, SIDS SALT & PEPPER and ginger. Sprinkle with bran then roll mixture into dessertspoon sized balls and add to the shallots.
Glaze:- In a seperate bowl, stir together SIDS TAMARILLO SAUCE with all the glaze ingredients then pour about 2 tsp of glaze over each meatball.
Return to the oven for another 40 minutes.
Serve with creamy mashed potatoes and peas to soak up the yummy jus.
