Ingredients
1 cup spring onions, sliced 3 cm
1 star anise
1 bay leaf
1 cinnamon stick 3 cm
200 g pork belly
½ cup rice wine or sherry
2 tsp dark soy
2 tsp light soy
1 tbsp raw sugar
1 cup water
2 tbsp SIDS LOW SUGAR RASPBERRY VINEGAR
1 spring onion, very fine sliced to garnish
Directions
Carefully mix all together with SIDS LOW SUGAR RASPBERRY VINEGAR in a large pot. Simmer for 40 minutes then remove lid, star anise, bayleaf and cinnamon. Simmer a further 10 minutes. If necessary, thicken with cornflour & water mix.
Serve with boiled rice and a sprinkle of spring onion.
