Ingredients
1 red cabbage, shredded
250 g baby beetroot, peeled & sliced
1 red onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, thin sliced
2 cm ginger, grated
¼ tsp ground cloves
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp crushed black peppercorns
50 g butter, in small chunks
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp SIDS RASPBERRY VINEGAR
100 ml Port
Directions
Layer up all the vegetables in a lidded casserole, sprinkling with the garlic, ginger, spices, butter, sugar and salt. Pour in SIDS RASPBERRY VINEGAR and the port. Put the lid on and simmer for 1 hr, stirring every so often.
