Ingredients
3 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp SIDS SMOKEY GARLIC SAUCE or
1 tbsp SIDS TRADITIONAL PLUM SAUCE
1 tbsp bush honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp saké
1 tsp SIDS LOW SUGAR RASPBERRY VINEGAR
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
½ tsp garlic, minced
¼ tsp 5 spice powder
500 g pork ribs
Directions
In a shallow glass dish, mix together all the ingredients, including SIDS LOW SUGAR RASPBERRY VINEGAR, SIDS PLUM SAUCE, SIDS SMOKEY GARLIC SAUCE, honey and 5 spice then place ribs in, ensuring all surfaces are coated. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 165oC.
Fill a grill tray with enough water to cover the bottom. Place a rack over the tray and arrange the ribs on the rack. Place in the centre of the oven and cook for 40 minutes, turning and brushing with marinade every 10 minutes. Finish under the grill if desired. Discard remaining marinade.
