Ingredients
700 g salmon fillet
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tbsp SIDS WINE & PEPPER MUSTARD
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
½ tsp SIDS SMOKEY BBQ RUB (substitute for plank)
Directions
Soak an untreated manuka plank (the size of the fillet) in water for up to 24 hours then place the salmon fillet on top. Alternately, sprinkle SIDS SMOKEY BBQ RUB on both sides of the fillet.
In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, SIDS WINE & PEPPER MUSTARD, SIDS SALT & PEPPER then brush over the salmon. Place (plank) on a well oiled grill over a medium heat and close the lid. Brush once with the remaining maple mixture and cook 20-25 minutes.
Serve by halving the fillet lengthwise the cut crosswise into 6 pieces.
