Sausage Patties for Breakfast

This is a very easy way to save a ton of money on your breakfast budget, and get a far healthier, less artificial product into your kiddos bellies to boot.

Ingredients

8 tsp dried sage
2 tbsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
4 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp ground cloves
½ tsp SIDS SMOKEY BBQ RUB
500 g pork mince

Directions

SAUSAGE SPICE MIX:
Measure out SIDS SALT & PEPPER, SIDS SMOKEY BBQ RUB and the spices then dump them in a bowl and whisk.
Store in a labelled container.
Use 4 tsp of the mix per 500 g of meat.
BREAKFAST SAUSAGE PATTIES
Mix the spices and ground pork in a bowl until well blended.
Lay out a sheet of plastic wrap. Plop the sausage meat on the wrap in a rough roll shape.
Using the wrap and your fingers, (or the flat edge of a cookie sheet) form the roll. (use the same technique as for sushi)
Twist the ends of the wrap until the meat has turned into a nice, thick, neat roll of sausage heaven.
Freeze for later use OR, you can freeze for an hour, remove from the wrap and slice into individual patties.
Lay those on a baking tray and freeze completely. Once frozen, toss into a Ziploc bag for future use.
Enjoy healthy(-er), cheaper breakfast sausage that tastes fantastic!
