Seafood Taranaki

A shellfish dish with a rich, elegant sauce. It's excellent served over noodles.

Ingredients

¼ cup butter
¼ cup flour
1 tsp SIDS CRAZY LEMON
1½ cups milk
¼ cup dry sherry
1 pinch paprika
3 tbsp Tuimato sauce
Dash of SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE
500 g shrimp, shelled
400 g scallops, with roe
400 g small mussels
200 g Tuatua, (optional)

Directions

Pour mussels and tuatua into a stock pot and cover with water. Boil until the shells open. Remove from shells and beard from the mussels. Fry the scallops and shrimp together, turning everything over when scallops are golden. Be careful to not overcook!
Combine butter, flour and salt in a saucepan. Cook for two minutes. Slowly pour in milk and bring mixture to a boil. Stir sherry into the mixture, (to taste) paprika, Tuimato and SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE. Place seafood in the saucepan and heat thoroughly. Serve hot.
