It's a traditional birthday dish in Korea. Also, every women who gives birth eats this soup because it is believed that it helps with breast feeding.

Ingredients

200 g mince
1 package dried brown seaweed or wakame
2 tsp sesame oil
1½ tbsp GF soy sauce
1 tsp salt, to taste
6 cups water
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp SIDS GARLIC SAUCE

Directions

Soak seaweed in water to cover. When soft, drain, rinse and cut into 5 cm pieces.
Heat a saucepan over medium heat then add beef, sesame oil, ½ tablespoon soy sauce and a pinch of salt then cook for 1 minute. Stir in seaweed and remaining 1 tablespoon soy sauce then cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently. Pour in 2 cups water and bring to a boil. Stir in garlic, SIDS GARLIC SAUCE and remaining 4 cups water. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt.
