Ingredients

1 cup rice bran oil, for frying
24 rock or Pacific oysters and juice
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
1 tsp SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE
½ cup dry pancake mix

Directions

Heat oil in a frypan over medium high heat to 175°C.
Combine oysters, oyster juice, egg, SIDS SALT & PEPPER and SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE. Gently stir in pancake mix to make a thin batter.
Spoon oysters one at a time into hot oil. There should be just enough batter surrounding oysters to coat them but it should not be too thick.
Fry until golden brown on both sides. Drain and serve.
