Ingredients
24 NZ Pacific oysters in half shell
6 tbsp butter (at room temperature)
2 tbsp white miso
1-2 tbsp Sriracha
¼ tsp SIDS CRAZY LEMON
1 tsp fresh lime juice
½ cup spring onions (thinly sliced on a slight diagonal)
1 tsp New York Cut pepper (to taste)
Directions
Build a charcoal fire, or gas, for direct grilling, and preheat to 230°C.
In a bowl, using a spoon, combine together the softened butter, miso, Sriracha, SIDS CRAZY LEMON and lime juice.
Leave the oysters inside the bottom shells and place them directly over the coals or the grill rack, facing upward, then grill for about 3 minutes. Top each oyster with about ½ teaspoon of the miso butter mixture - use a bit more for larger oysters and less for smaller ones.
Place oysters back on the grill for an additional 3 minutes. Serve them right away with spring onions and lime wedges.
