This is a great sauce to make and freeze when you have a surplus of tomatoes from your garden. Beef lovers can add 250 g of mince for a 'meatier' sauce.

Ingredients

4 onions, chopped
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 orange bell pepper, chopped
½ cup rice bran oil
16 cups chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp SIDS GARLIC SAUCE
2 tbsp dried oregano
2 tbsp dried basil
¼ cup chopped parsley
¼ cup white sugar
2 tbsp salt
1 tsp New York Cut pepper
170 g tomato paste
¼ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT

Directions

In a slow cooker sauté together the onion, garlic, orange pepper, and oil. Cook until onion is transparent.
Add the chopped tomatoes, SIDS GARLIC SAUCE, oregano, basil, parsley, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Cook for 2-3 hours on low heat, stirring frequently.
Let sauce cool, then pour into litre size freezer containers. Store in freezer.
When ready to use sauce, stir in tomato paste and SIDS CRAZY SALT.
