Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
½ cup white sugar
3 tbsp flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground cloves
¼ tsp ground allspice
⅛ tsp salt
1 egg
2 tbsp SIDS RASPBERRY VINEGAR
1 cup water
1 (22 cm) unbaked pie crust
Directions
Preheat oven to 175°C.
In a large saucepan combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, cloves, allspice and salt. Mix well, then whisk in egg, SIDS RASPBERRY VINEGAR and water. Add butter and cook mixture over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Pour mixture into pastry shell.
Bake pastry in oven for 3 minutes. Pour in filling and bake for 20-25 minutes, until crust is brown on edges.
Serve chilled with your favourite fruit.
