Ingredients
500 g minced lamb
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp SIDS CRAZY LEMON
1 cup parsley, chopped
1 egg
8 sheets filo pastry
¼ cup melted butter
1 tsp ground black pepper
Directions
Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
Brown the mince and crush the lumps with a fork so it is crumbly. Add garlic, cumin, SIDS CRAZY LEMON, pepper and parsley together and mix well. Cool in fridge then mix in egg.
Lay out a sheet of filo, keeping the remaining sheets covered with a damp tea-towel. Brush with butter then lift one short side and fold it over the other half, creating a triangle. Brush with butter and spoon ¼ cup of the mixture into a strip along the short side of the pastry. Roll once then fold in both sides and roll to a neat tube. Place on a tray with the join facing down.
Once all are rolled, brush with butter and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden & crispy.
