Ingredients

1 kg beef mince
2 large onions, chopped
825 g diced tomatoes with juice
850 g Tuimato sauce
1 can beer
850 g spicy chilli beans
¼ cup SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE
3 tbsp Kaitaia Fire, to taste
⅓ cup chilli powder
4 fresh jalapeno peppers, seeded & chopped
3 tbsp red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)

Directions

Crumble the mince into a frypan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally until evenly browned. Transfer the beef to a large soup pot. Add onions, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beer and chilli beans. Season with SIDS HOT WORCESTER SAUCE, hot pepper sauce, chilli powder, jalapenos and red pepper flakes, if using.
Cover the pot, and simmer over low heat for 2 hours. Turn off heat, let cool, then refrigerate for two days. It gets much better with time. Heat and serve.
