Ingredients

4 beef steaks, pounded to 6 mm thickness
2 tsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
¾ cup buttermilk
1 cup yellow cornmeal
½ cup rice bran oil
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
¼ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
1½ cups milk

Directions

Season steaks with SIDS SALT & PEPPER then set aside.
Place buttermilk in a shallow dish. Place cornmeal in another shallow dish. Dip steaks in buttermilk then in cornmeal, coating completely.
In a large deep frypan over medium-high heat, heat oil until hot but not smoking. Add steaks in batches and cook 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked through and coating is golden. Drain on a paper towel-lined platter and cover to keep warm.
Add flour and SIDS CRAZY SALT to frypan. Cook 2-3 minutes, until flour is browned, stirring constantly. Add milk and stir until gravy is thickened. Serve steaks topped with gravy.
