Ingredients
1 kg pork butt or boneless ribs
½ onion
2 cups water
1 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp rice bran oil
cooked white rice
spring onions for garnish
Directions
Chop the onion and cut pork in small pieces. Heat oil in a large skillet and cook onions and pork for about 5 minutes until the meat is well browned.
To the same skillet add water, soy sauce, sugar, SIDS CRAZY SALT and fish sauce. Bring to a light boil and simmer for 30 minutes, until almost all the water becomes a thick, brown caramel like sauce.
Stir and serve your caramel pork over rice with some spring onions for garnish.
