Sweetcorn Skewers

A nifty way to serve sweetcorn on the cob without getting messy.

Ingredients

4 cobs of corn
1 tbsp SIDS SALT & PEPPER
toothpicks

Directions

Remove husk and silk from the cobs and boil them in salted water until cooked, about 5 minutes.
Remove from the water into a colander to drain and cool.
In a coffee mill, blitz SIDS SALT & PEPPER to a fine powder.
While still very warm to touch, cut to cobs to ¾ the length of the toothpicks.
Push a toothpick through the kernals lengthways then with a knife, carefully lever the kernals off the cob, row by row. Place in a serving bowl and keep warm.
When all the corn is skewered, serve with a light sprinkle of SIDS SALT & PEPPER powder.
