Ingredients
12 Toheroa
1 large onion, chopped
850 ml fish stock
280 ml milk
½ tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp flour
SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste
Directions
Open Toheroa, remove shell and wash well. Mince finely and put into a saucepan with stock. Add onion and simmer for 1 hour. Mix cinnamon, flour and a little milk together as a thickener. Pour the remainder of the milk to the soup then bring gently to the boil. Add thickening and stir to a creamy consistency. Season with SIDS SALT & PEPPER to taste.
Serve with fresh croutons.
