Ingredients
MEATBALLS:--
1 cup chedder cheese, shredded
½ cup cottage cheese
½ cup onion, minced
1 cup pecans, chopped finely
1 tsp basil, dried
1 tsp SIDS CRAZY SALT
1 cup breadcrumbs
SWEET & SOUR SAUCE:--
1 cup SIDS LOW SUGAR RASPBERRY VINEGAR
1½ tbsp SIDS TAMARILLO SAUCE
1 cup sugar
½ cup water
1 onion, chopped coarse
½ cup pineapple juice
pinch of salt
2 tsp cornflour
dash of Kaitia Fire
Directions
Preheat oven to 175oC.
MEATBALLS: In a large bowl, mix eggs and cheeses until well blended. Mix in ½ cup onion, pecans, basil, salt, sage and breadcrumbs. Form the mixture into 5 cm balls and place on a baking dish.
SWEET & SOUR SAUCE: In another bowl, whisk together SIDS LOW SUGAR RASPBERRY VINEGAR, SIDS TAMARILLO SAUCE and the remaining ingredients. Pour over the meatballs.
Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until the sauce is thick and bubbly.
